Why it exists

Traditional dictionaries and long word lists kill motivation. Vocaboo turns vocabulary learning into a game, with interactive exercises that are fun and memorable.

Whether you're teaching Dutch to English-speaking children or vice versa, Vocaboo adapts to your learning style. Choose between quick multiple choice or deliberate typing, and get hints when you get stuck.

How it works

A round of twenty words.

Dutch to English, multiple choice, with the word list of Unit 4 from year 7/8. Hoek is corner: right, plus ten XP.

What you see here

The word list comes from the classroom: twenty words from Unit 4. The game counts correct answers, streak and level.
Right or wrong shows immediately, with the correct answer in green. In typing mode the hint button nudges without giving the answer away.
No ads and no pop-ups: the screen is the game.
