Why it exists

Most expense tools are designed for large organisations with approval chains, corporate policies, and dedicated finance teams. If you're a freelancer, a small business owner, or a church treasurer, you don't need any of that. You need something that simply works.

Expensio strips expense management down to what matters: recording what you spent, bundling it into a claim, and exporting a professional report. No feature bloat. No corporate overhead.

How it works

From receipt to paid claim.

A recharge to a client: a month of kilometres and train journeys, as a PDF in the studio's own branding.

What you see here

The lines come from the expense list: kilometres as quantity times rate at 0% VAT, the train journeys at 9%.
The PDF takes your details and the client's from the contacts, with IBAN and BIC.
Submitting locks the claim and prepares a SEPA QR code, so the client pays with one scan.

Snap a photo of your receipt. Date, merchant, amount and VAT are extracted and filled in. Hours, kilometres and units you enter as quantity and rate; Expensio does the total.

Capture, bundle, and see where your money goes.

The expense list in Expensio with amount and VAT per line. — **Capture.** Photograph a receipt; amount and VAT are filled in. You can correct it, you rarely need to.
